    Boil spaghetti in salted water. Strain and reserve some of the pasta water.

    In the same pot, melt unsalted butter, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, and freshly grated parmesan cheese.

    Add reserved pasta water, taste, and add salt if needed, along with black pepper and heavy cream.

    Toss in the pasta and freshly chopped parsley or your favorite herb.

    Garnish with extra cheese, parsley, lemon zest, and red pepper flakes.
