- 1 pound green beans, trimmed
- 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Salt, to taste
- White pepper, to taste (optional)
- Soy sauce, to taste (optional)

Trim off the ends of the green beans and dry them well.

Finely mince the garlic.

Heat up vegetable oil in a pan. Once hot, flash fry the green beans for one minute or until the skin is blistered. Remove and set aside.

Pour out the oil, leaving enough to sauté the garlic for a few minutes.

Add the green beans back into the pan and season with salt. Optionally, add white pepper and soy sauce.

Sauté for another minute, then enjoy!
