Citrus Pepper Shrimp

These Citrus Pepper Shrimp are quick and easy to make, bursting with zesty flavors from lemon, lime, and orange juices for a perfect seafood dinner. Growing up, my family wasn't big on seafood, but this dish changed everything for me. The fresh citrus marinade pairs so well with the shrimp, and the quick sear locks in all that incredible flavor. Plus, if cilantro's not your thing, parsley is a great stand-in!

Instructions

  1. 1

Combine crushed garlic, lemon juice, lime juice, orange juice, olive oil, spices, and chopped cilantro or parsley.

  2. 2

Marinate your shrimp for no longer than 10 minutes because the citrus will start to cook it.

  3. 3

In a hot pan, sear the shrimp on both sides.

  4. 4

Add in the sauce, some cornstarch slurry, and cook for about five minutes.

  5. 5

Serve with some rice and scallions, and enjoy.

Helpful Notes

  • If you think cilantro tastes like soap, substitute with parsley.
